The Lady appears in public

In the morning, during Holy Mass, I suddenly hear the voice of the Lady saying,
“I will come today. Go to the chapel.”

In the evening there is adoration, and the church is very crowded. During the fifth glorious mystery I hear the voice of the Lady saying again,
“Go to the chapel.”

However, since the church is so crowded, I don’t dare go, and I remain seated. A bright light comes from behind, from out of the chapel, and goes through the church. I am terribly frightened by this. Now, all of a sudden, I hear the voice of the Lady very clearly, right by my ear. I hear the Lady say,
“Get up!”

It sounds so commanding that I rise with a start and walk towards the back. I feel as if I am floating. When I arrive at the chapel where the painting is, I see a sea…

Pope Francis’ Teaching on Mary’s Spiritual Motherhood

On May 4, 2013, Pope Francis once again showed his profound Marian love by returning for a second time in less than two months to St. Mary Major’s Basilica in Rome to entrust his papacy to Our Lady’s motherly protection, to pray five decades of the Rosary, and to deliver a beautiful teaching on Mary’s Spiritual Motherhood. This certainly encourages those worldwide praying for and petitioning to Pope Francis for a solemn papal definition of this same doctrine: Mary as Spiritual Mother of All Peoples -Ed.

May God be praised for the pontificate of Pope Francis! Truly the Holy Spirit was at work in the choosing of this man to guide the People of God at this pivotal moment in history of the Church and of the world. During the first weeks of his pontificate, Pope Francis has already manifested his extraordinary love and devotion to the Mother of Jesus and the Mother of all peoples.

The Blessed Virgin Mary promised to Saint Dominic and to all who follow her urgings that “Whatever you ask in the Rosary will be granted.” These are the fifteen promises she imparted to Saint Dominic and Blessed Alan de la Roche, granted to all Christians who faithfully recite the Rosary. The Power of the Family Rosary

The Rosary is… and always has been, a prayer of and for the family. At one time this prayer was particularly dear to Christian families, and it certainly brought them closer together. It is important not to lose this precious inheritance. We need to return to the practice of family prayer and prayer for families, continuing to use the Rosary.

In my Apostolic Letter Novo Millennio Ineunte I encouraged the celebration of the Liturgy of the Hours by the lay faithful in the ordinary life of parish communities and Christian groups; (1) I now wish to do the same for the Rosary.
