-------------------------------------------------------------------------- - Heaven Speaks to Those Away from the Church by "Anne," a Lay Apostle -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Heaven Speaks to Those Away from the Church by "Anne," a Lay Apostle Anne, a visionary from Ireland, has received permission from her local ordinary, Bishop Leo O'Reilly, for the distribution of messages which she receives from Jesus, God the Father, Our Blessed Mother, the angels and saints (see article, "Discernment of Lay Apostolate of Jesus Christ the Returning King," Marian Private Revelation section). – Ed. December 9, 2006 Jesus I call out to those who have left My Church. Come back, I say. Return to the safety of the sacramental walk. It will be best for you and I want only what is best for you. Be assured of My welcome. Be assured that I want your return. Do not think that you are unwelcome in your faith. How could this be when I, Jesus Christ, personally call out to you? My Church on earth represents Me. It is My Church and belongs to Me. When the people of My Church accurately represent Me, you feel cherished. I want to restore you to your Church and I want to restore your Church to you. You see, My friend, it is best for you, given your call to holiness, that you proceed on the path that is protected by My Church on earth. I have so many ways to help you if you are following your faith within the protection of My Church. My Church has suffered, it is true. My Church continues to suffer. Part of the reason My Church is suffering is because you are away from it. My Church needs you. My Church wants you. You must return. http://www.motherofallpeoples.com/index.php?option=content&task=view&id=1012 -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mary, First Witness of the Resurrection by Pope John Paul II After Jesus had been laid in the tomb, Mary "alone remains to keep alive the flame of faith, preparing to receive the joyful and astonishing announcement of the Resurrection." (1) The expectation felt on Holy Saturday is one of the loftiest moments of faith for the Mother of the Lord: in the darkness that envelops the world, she entrusts herself fully to the God of life, and thinking back to the words of her Son, she hopes in the fulfillment of the divine promises. The Gospels mention various appearances of the risen Christ, but not a meeting between Jesus and his Mother. This silence must not lead to the conclusion that after the Resurrection Christ did not appear to Mary; rather it invites us to seek the reasons why the Evangelists made such a choice. http://www.motherofallpeoples.com/index.php?option=content&task=view&id=1013 -------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Resurrection of the Lord in the Mystical Tradition by Raphael Brown In celebration of the Resurrection of Our Lord on Easter Sunday, we present this account from the Church's mystical tradition of Our Lord's Resurrection, and his appearance to Our Lady, who had patiently waited, prayed and guided the apostles and holy women after the horrific events of Good Friday. – Asst. Ed. The sun had already set when the Blessed Virgin, St. John and the Holy Women returned to the Cenacle in Jerusalem late on the afternoon of Good Friday. Going into the hall in which they had attended the Last Supper on the previous evening, the Mother of God thanked John and her companions for having remained with her throughout the Passion of her Son, and in His name she promised them a special reward for having been so faithful. She also offered herself as a lifelong servant and friend to all the women. They acknowledged this favor by kissing her hands and asking for her blessing, which she gave them. Then they begged her to take some rest and food, but Mary replied: "My rest and consolation shall be to see my Son and Lord arisen from the dead. Yet you, my dear friends, must satisfy your needs, while I retire alone with my son John." http://www.motherofallpeoples.com/index.php?option=content&task=view&id=1019 -------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Resurrected Jesus Visits Mary by Maria Valtorta The following account of the Resurrected Jesus' appearance to his Mother and Co-redeemer is an excerpt from the revelations received by Maria Valtorta, as contained in the work, The Poem of the Man-God. The Poem of the Man-God remains a legitimate mystical/spiritual source within the Church for Christian meditation regarding the life of Jesus as recorded by the Italian mystic, Maria Valtorta (see article, In Response to Various Questions Regarding "The Poem of the Man-God" in the Marian Private Revelation section). – Ed. Mary is prostrated with Her face on the floor... The closed window is opened with a violent banging of the heavy shutters, and with the first ray of the sun, Jesus enters. Mary, Who has been shaken by the noise and has raised Her head to see which wind has opened the shutters, sees Her radiant Son: handsome, infinitely more handsome than He was before suffering, smiling, lively, brighter than the sun, dressed in a white garment that seems woven of light, and Who is advancing towards Her. http://www.motherofallpeoples.com/index.php?option=content&task=view&id=1017 -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Sister Lucia and Modesty in Dress by Sister Lucia of Fatima As soon as the children (in our village) reached the age of seven, they began to take their share in the running of the house by being taught how to look after the flocks. Like the Patriarchs and Kings of old, nearly every family had its little flock of gentle sheep which the children led out to graze in the green fields belonging to their parents. The flock helped considerably towards the maintenance of the family: milk and cheese, lambs to replace sheep that have grown old, or for sale on the market; wool which the women of the house used to spin, dye and then weave, in order to use it, later, to make warm colored shawls for the winter, or to make mats for the humble bedrooms, or round blue serge skirts with wide red stripes to adorn the Sunday clothes worn by the girls. Gold earrings reaching down to their shoulders, glistening medals hung round their necks, a scarf over their shoulders and a cool hat covering their heads decorated with gold beads and colored feathers completed their adornment. Would that the clothes people wear in our own day had even a touch of the modesty, the respect for human dignity, displayed by those worn by the village women of those days! It will be good for us to recall here what Sacred Scripture has to say on this subject: "The Lord God made clothes out of skins for the man and his wife, and they put them on" (Gen. 3:21). http://www.motherofallpeoples.com/index.php?option=content&task=view&id=1014 -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Modesty in the Culture of Shamelessness by Michael D. O'Brien "Grace never casts nature aside or cancels it out. Rather it perfects it and ennobles it." I've been pondering recently, as I have so many times over the years, what Our Lady meant precisely in the messages of Fatima when she spoke about the offences through the clothing fashions that would develop in the years following the apparitions. Appearing to Blessed Jacinta Marto between December, 1919 and February, 1920, she said, "Certain fashions will be introduced that will offend Our Lord very much." And "Woe to women lacking in modesty." http://www.motherofallpeoples.com/index.php?option=content&task=view&id=1015 -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mary the Fair Ewe by St. Melito of Sardis He it is, who came from heaven to earth http://www.motherofallpeoples.com/index.php?option=content&task=view&id=1018 --------------------------------------------------------------------------

Consecrate Yourself to Mary
Using the Consecration Prayer
of St. Louis-Marie de Montfort
I, (Name), a faithless sinner, renew and ratify today in your hands the vows of my Baptism; I renounce forever Satan, his pomps and works; and I give myself entirely to Jesus Christ, the Incarnate Wisdom, to carry my cross after Him all the days of my life, and to be more faithful to Him than I have ever been before.
In the presence of all the heavenly court I choose you this day for my Mother and Queen. I deliver and consecrate to you, as your slave, my body and soul, my goods, both interior and exterior, and even the value of all my good actions, past, present and future; leaving to you the entire and full right of disposing of me, and all that belongs to me, without exception, according to your good pleasure, for the greater glory of God, in time and in eternity.
