Heaven Speaks to Consecrated Souls by "Anne," a Lay Apostle

"Anne" has received permission from her local ordinary, Bishop Leo O'Reilly, Bishop of Kilmore, Ireland, for the spreading of her messages, and has also submitted all her writings to the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith (see article, "Discernment of Lay Apostolate of Jesus Christ the Returning King," Marian Private Revelation section). – Asst. Jesus

I speak today to all souls who have vocations in the Church. Dear souls, consecrated to Me, I rely on you more than you understand. At this time I intend to use you powerfully to witness to heaven's presence on the earth. The period of time that is ending, the Age of Disobedience, has taken many of My consecrated souls from Me, and they live out their lives away from their vocations. They are forgiven, of course, and cherished, and many serve Me beautifully in other ways. I do not waste the presence of a willing soul, as you all know. If a soul loves Me I will find work for that soul and begin to prepare the soul's reward. I consider each one of you a heavenly asset. You have faced many challenges, it is true, and to have held your course steadily through these years is an achievement. Now I am asking you to move even closer to My Heart. I want you to draw your every breath for Me and for My desires, My needs. If you do this, unite yourself completely to Me, every moment of your remaining time on earth will be utilized. I will draw graces from the time you rise to the time you retire and from even your rest. Give Me everything. Replace any remaining self-will with My holy will. Tell Me often that I own your vocation. How this consoles Me and comforts Me. You see, I am suffering. I suffer from the anguish of the souls on earth who wander in darkness. I suffer from the rebellion that causes such upset in families and even in My Church. But you will help Me and this gives Me solace. Work for Me, please, in everything you do. I will not hide My will and that is My promise to you.

The Miraculous and Painless Birth of Jesus Christ by Mark Miravalle

In light of the recent motion picture, The Nativity, in which Mary is viewed as having labor pains during birth, the issue of the miraculous and painless birth of Jesus has once again been raised. Our Lady's virginity during the birth is an essential part of the dogmatic pronouncement of Pope Martin I in 649 A.D., and has always been understood in the Church as it was understood by the Fathers' famous image, "As light passes through glass without harming the glass, so too Jesus left the womb of Mary in a miraculous manner without any opening of the womb and without any physical violation of her virginity." The Catechism of the Council of Trent also confirms that Mary gave birth without labor pains, as such was the effect of the Fall, and the sinless Virgin would not suffer any effects of original sin. – Ed.

The second dogma regarding the Blessed Virgin is the dogma of Mary's Perpetual Virginity. This defined truth received generally unanimous acceptance among the early Church Fathers and was confirmed by papal and conciliar definitions.

The dogma of Mary's Perpetual Virginity proclaims that the Blessed Virgin Mary was always a virgin, before, during, and after the birth of Jesus Christ. This threefold character of Mary's virginity was declared in the definition of Pope St. Martin I at the Lateran Synod in 649 A.D., where he pronounced as an article of faith that:

The blessed ever-virginal and immaculate Mary conceived, without seed, by the Holy Spirit, and without loss of integrity brought Him forth, and after His birth preserved her virginity inviolate. (1)

The Marian Apparitions of Akita: The Mother of God as Co-redemptrix by Francis Fukushima

In 1973, in a Catholic convent in a suburb of the city of Akita in northern Japan, a Japanese nun reported receiving messages of serious implications for all mankind from the Mother of God, the Blessed Virgin Mary.

Sr. Agnes Katsuko Sasagawa, then 42, reported to Bishop John Shojiro Ito, that the Blessed Mother called for Roman Catholics to offer up fervent prayers, penance, and sacrifices. The Blessed Mother was also reported as calling for the mankind to repent of their sinful lifestyle and to amend themselves.

Bishop Ito, the ordinary of the diocese of Niigata wherein Akita lies, immediately initiated an investigation of the messages and related mysterious events that were observed by both Christian and non-Christian visitors.

Akita Consists of Supernatural Origin: The Pastoral Letter of Bishop John Ito by Bishop John Shojiro Ito

In 1984 Bishop John Ito, local bishop of the region of Akita, Japan, declared the Marian apparitions of Our Lady Co-redemptrix of Akita to be "of supernatural origin." This pastoral letter was written in consultation with the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith and the prefect of the Congregation at the time, Joseph Cardinal Ratzinger. – Ed.

To all members of the diocese, my blessing and very best wishes for this Feast of Easter. Twenty-two years have elapsed since His Holiness John XXIII appointed me bishop of the diocese of Niigata, in 1962. In conformity with the legislation of the Church I have reached the age of retirement and now I must retire as the local ordinary of the diocese. My thanksgiving goes to each one of you for prayer and cooperation which have permitted me, despite many difficulties, to fill my task up to the present day.

Before leaving you, I must confide to you a preoccupation. It has to do with the series of mysterious events concerning a wooden statue of the Virgin Mary in the Institute of the Handmaids of the Sacred Heart of Jesus in the Holy Eucharist. (The request for ecclesial recognition of this secular institute has been introduced in Rome.) This institute is found in Yuzawadai, Soegawa, Akita, in this diocese of Niigata (Japan). You are without doubt aware of these events through magazines, books, television, and so on.

The Mother of Men by Fr. Cornelis Friethoff, O.P.

In the doctrinal letter of the Dutch episcopate, which we have already quoted several times, referring to "our Lady's place and role in the salvific order" (6 viii, 43), we read:

Holy Church, which is the columna firmamentum, pillar and foundation of truth, and which teaches us with a divine mandate and under the guidance of the Holy Spirit the truths of revelation, puts before us ever more urgently and clearly that Mary has won and will continue to win yet another triumph over Satan. She teaches us that the Redeemer's Mother is at the same time associated with the great work of redemption; that the opposition between her and the devil did not concern her only but at the same time the souls who had fallen by sin into slavery to the devil and were being constantly waylaid by him; also that she is able to collaborate with Jesus Christ not only in obtaining the grace of salvation but also in applying it. She, the Church, teaches us that God made Mary Mother not only of his only-begotten Son, but also Mother of men, Mother of divine grace, Mater divinae gratiae.

"The Lady Belongs There" by The Lady of All Nations

During a September 8, 1974 Eucharistic Experience (ecclesiastical approval, May 31, 2002, see "Church Approves Apparitions of the Lady of All Nations" article), Ida is shown what the Church is like without the Lady of All Nations and is told: "Do you see what is lacking with you? She, the Lady was not there. It has become an empty, barren desert, bereft of its contents. Therefore I ask you: retrace your steps. The Lady belongs there. If you consider it in that spirit, your Church will be reborn." – Asst. Ed.

During Holy Mass, at the words: "Holy, Holy, Holy," "the Light" came over the altar and the priest.

At the Consecration, when the Sacred Host was held up for adoration, "the Light" became threefold and I heard "the Voice" say:

"Once more I tell you, take care of the Transubstantiation."

The "Threefold Light" constantly radiating at random, stayed till the end of Holy Mass.

On receiving "Our Lord" I saw a heavenly vision and noticed a deep heavenly silence. Then, after a while, I heard "the Voice" saying:

Heart of Mary, Mirror of God's Wisdom and Truth by St. John Eudes

Divine wisdom and truth are communicated to the holy Heart of the Blessed Virgin Mary in no lesser degree than Divine power and strength.

If the Holy Spirit assures us that the soul of the just man is the seat of Divine Wisdom, we can well say that the Heart of Mary, Mother of Jesus, is the throne of this same Wisdom, the highest and most magnificent throne that it ever had or shall have on earth and in heaven.

The Heart of Mary is not merely the throne of Wisdom, but its living image, for it is the Heart of the Mother of Him whom Sacred Scripture calls "the wisdom of God" (1 Cor. 1:21-24). In Christ are all the treasures of the wisdom and knowledge of God, and He certainly dispensed them in an incomparably higher manner to His Mother than to King Solomon and all the sages and wise men of the universe.
