This is a week of great reflection and momentum. As we all journey towards Calvary and Easter, it is exciting to know that Jesus has invited us into His wonderful story. It becomes our story as we allow the sufferings and struggles of this Lent to be the true springtime it is intended to be. We move from the desert, struggle, sorrow, and death to true life. Mary is helping us to see deeper into Christ's Passion, so that we can truly be captivated by Love. We are almost there, so don't give up. Maybe you have struggled this Lent with your sacrifices, or possibly you haven't been as diligent about things you wanted to do as a gift to Jesus, but don't be discouraged because you can give these next few days to Him as a gift. In the end Jesus is leading you towards sanctity. Mary remembers her Son's death, burial, and resurrection with lucidity, and because of this she knows what you need as you carry your cross. God is blessing you. He is loving you even now. |

Say not, merciful virgin, that you cannot help me, for your beloved Son has given you all power in heaven and on earth. Say not that you ought not assist me, for you are the Mother of all the poor children of Adam, and mine in particular. Since, then, merciful virgin, you are my Mother, and you are all powerful, what excuse can you offer if you do not lend assistance? See, my Mother, see, you are obliged to grant me what I ask, and to yield to my entreaties.
