We all have so much to be thankful for. I am going to invite you to do something radical today. Try and find five people that you can call, email, write, text, or meet with for the sole purpose of letting them know how much you care about them. We often get so busy and weighed down with life's ups and downs that having an attitude of gratidue isn't always on the forefront of our "To Do" lists. Who knows, maybe our little effort of saying thanks will be the encouraging word for our friends who are going through a difficult day. I am thankful for you. The many who continue to read the essays, visit the main page, play the games, pray for this ministry, are not known by the numerous visitors to this site, but you are known by God as a great support and asset to this ministry. It is because of your prayers that this Marian website continues. Please know that we are very grateful to you all. I am also thankful for my family! I married my high school sweetheart over sixteen years ago and am blessed with eight children. I have had the chance to collaborate in youth ministry programs and parish missions all over the world, and continue to be encouraged by what the Lord is doing in all of our lives as we jouney toward's holiness. In a way, I believe that being thankful is something Mary lived consistently. She found a way to be filled with gratitude in moments of joy and moments of sorrow. Our Lady lived a life of thanksgivine, being eucharistic from the first moment of her existence. When we are grateful for our families, and the ministries that the Lord places before us, it is in fact, a chance for us to be like Mary. We get to say and live a life of thanksgiving. By reaching out to other's and letting them know how much they mean to us, we invite our friends and family into the reality of the Marian way; gratitude. God is blessing us all, and certainly inviting us into a deeper way of saying "thanks"!
